Victor Gourevitch

Victor Gourevitch is Willialm Griffin Professor of Philosophy Emeritus at Wesleyan University. He studied with Strauss at the University of Chicago, and published a review of Strauss’s On Tyranny and Strauss’s thought in The Review of Metaphysics in 1968. He edited Rousseau’s political writings for the Cambridge Texts in the History of Political Thought series, and is editor with Michael S. Roth of Leo Strauss, On Tyranny, Corrected and Expanded Edition(University of Chicago Press, 2013).
