Harry Jaffa
Harry V. Jaffa (1918-2015) was professor of government at Claremont College and Claremont Graduate University, and was one of Strauss’s Ph.D. students at the New School of Social Research. Jaffa’s most well-known book is Crisis of the House Divided: An Interpretation of the Issues of the Lincoln-Douglas Debates (University of Chicago Press, 1959).
