David Lowenthal

David Lowenthal (1923-2022) studied with Strauss at the New School for Social Research in New York, from which he received his Ph.D. in 1953. He was professor of political science at Boston College from 1966 to 2000. He is the author of books on Shakespeare and Lincoln, as well as numerous articles.
