Jeffrey Burnam

Jeffrey Burnam received his M.A. and Ph.D. from the University of Chicago, where he studied with Strauss. Burnam has enjoyed an extensive career in public service, on the professional staff of the House of Representative, as legislative assistant to Senator Richard Lugar (Indiana), and as senioir official in the U.S. Department of State, largely with a focus on environmental issues. He is visiting professor of government at Georgetown University.
