Laurence Berns

Laurence Berns (1928-2011) studied with Leo Strauss at the University of Chicago, from which he received a Ph.D. in international relations. Berns taught at St. John’s College, Annapolis from 1960 until his retirement in 1999. He is author of several articles on political philosophy.
