Plato, Protagoras, spring 1965

The transcript of this course was published by the University of Chicago Press as part of the Leo Strauss Transcript Series: Leo Strauss on Plato’s Protagoras, ed. Robert C. Bartlett (University of Chicago Press, 2022).

“Plato’s Political Philosophy: Protagoras,” offered in spring quarter 1965, has 17 sessions with audio files for all of the sessions. Many of the files are taped over the recordings of other courses and the Protagoras session does not start at the beginning of the audiofile. The start time of the Protagoras session is indicated in parentheses following the audiofile number below.

Choose “Save Audio As” and you can rename the file, or leave the name as-is and navigate to where you want the downloaded file to end up.  Click OK and the file downloads to your computer in about two seconds.
